The Finest Wines Available to Humanity is Darren Smith taking his love of wine too far. After several years of writing about wine and helping on harvests, in 2018 he took the plunge and became a nomadic winemaker. Since then he has been travelling across two hemispheres to work with winemaker friends and produce his own range of collaborative wines which highlight lesser-known grape varieties and wine regions. Always made from organically farmed grapes, these are one-off, handmade wines that Darren hopes will make people curious to discover more about the winemakers, grape varieties and terroirs that inspired them. TFWATH Imports is the imports arm of The Finest Wines Available to Humanity, focusing on low-intervention and natural wines which also highlight lesser-known grape varieties and wine regions.
