Lukasi is a boutique producer of thrilling wines. Wife and husband Keti Gersamia and Mamu Dolidze started with a small plot of Saperavi which Mamu had inherited from a family friend. Their gorgeously rich wine attracted a cult following among collectors and restaurants, and they began commercial production in 2011. Beautifully crafted from small plots, Lukasi wines have been international medal winners since their earliest vintages. Imported by Taste of Georgia in the UK, these vibrant and long-lived wines show the incredible potential of fine Georgian wine and are always a highlight of any tasting.
Wines include a deep and sumptuous Saperavi from the famed Mukuzani zone, and a delightfully unusual deep rosé from the rare Chkhaveri grape, sourced from a small vineyard in Achara, in the far west. The gorgeous labels are designed by an artist friend.
