This small producer of qvevri wines was founded by the charismatic, curious and dynamic Eko Glonti. Eko’s previous careers were in medicine and geology, and their disciplines show in his sensitive and holistic approach to vine-growing and wine making.
From his few hectares of vineyards, Eko makes a wonderfully diverse range of wines from indigenous grapes. These include well-known varieties such as Rkatsiteli and Saperavi, and lesser-known regional specialities such as the deep, lively red, Aladasturi, and the gorgeously aromatic Chinuri.
These fresh, elegant wines are exported around the world and are listed in many of the UK’s finest restaurants. The Amber wines are notable for their refinement, texture and exquisite balance.
