The range and diversity of Georgian wine available in the UK has soared in recent months, as small specialist importers expand their customer base, and as large national distributors add Georgian wines to their portfolio for the first time.
From traditional method sparkling wine, to rosé, crisp dry whites, rich exotic amber, and deep but lively reds, the little universe of Georgian wine is increasingly represented in the UK. The range of prices has also increased, with many new examples of accessibly priced, fresh and fruity dry wines joining the more established range of hand-crafted, premium qvevri wines.
We are delighted to launch the first version of an upgraded and extended stockist list for importers, wholesalers and retailers of Georgian wine.
The list will continue to evolve as we receive more feedback and information from the market.
The database can be found online at www.georgianwine.uk/,
Our team has worked hard to get the most up to date information from trade partners and producers, and it’s likely to remain an eternal work in progress, as the availability of Georgian wine in the market grows.
The database is a resource both for independent wine shops looking for information on the national and specialist importers who are now offering Georgian wine, as well as for consumers looking for retail and online sources of Georgian wine.
We welcome all feedback and updates to this information – please contact us with any queries.
