THE EVENT
The roadshows held in June in Manchester and Bristol were a testament to the ever-growing interest in Georgian Wine. The Masterclasses were sold out, and a lively walk-around tasting clearly demonstrated the guests delight at each wine. The tasting featured a wide range of producers and wines, from artisan, ‘qvevri’ orange wine, to some irresistibly enjoyable Saperavi, whilst Sarah Abbott MW held guests captivated with her comprehensive masterclasses on Georgian winemaking techniques, culture and history.

WHO CAME
We had an excellent turn out with a cross section of the trade including press, sommeliers, buyers from large distributors (Boutinot, Ellis Wines), medium sized independent retailers such as Cork of the North, Corks of Bristol and the organiser of Wine Car Boot – an independent pop up wine event for artisanal wines in London.
